Music Production and Songwriting Lessons
Welcome friends and artists! I am an Ableton Certified Trainer, recording/performing artist, and multi-instrumentalist and am here to help you level up your skills in music production and songwriting. I teach students of all skill levels and ages. I am passionate about teaching women and LGBTQ+ who are vastly underrepresented in the world of music technology.
Lessons are tailored to suit each student’s needs. Whether you are an aspiring beat maker, singer/songwriter, or are looking to enhance your live performance, we can work together to make it happen! Lessons may focus on the technical aspects of Ableton or on developing your personal sound and workflow.
I offer in person lessons at my studio in the Seattle area or online via Zoom.

I've taken a ton of production lessons, and Mari is the perfect blend of knowledgeable (very), relaxed (thank god), practical, super creative, and with an amazing taste in music. I've learned more about synthesis from her and about Ableton than I have in so many other production classes, that took multiple times as long and cost a ton more. I look forward to my lessons - they don't feel like work. I have the best time, and I leave my lessons super inspired to create!

Mari's passion for educating women in production is inspiring! She is an excellent resource and even though I had already begun to self-teach in Ableton, her beginner class was essential in providing tools to streamline my projects for more efficiency and taught me many important workflow and basic production techniques to allow me to step up the production value of my projects.
